Programme Overview

UNISA has opened applications for its 2026 12‑month Graduate Internship Programme, offering unemployed UNISA graduates practical workplace experience in various departments.

Who Can Apply

You are eligible if you:

• Are a South African citizen and UNISA graduate with a completed qualification at NQF Level 6 or higher (diploma/degree).
• Are unemployed and have no formal work experience in your field.
• Are 35 years old or younger (some adverts specify this limit).
• Have never worked for UNISA or other organisations in a professional role.
• Persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply.

Programme Details

• Duration: 12 months (fixed-term)
• Stipend: Approximately R127,576 per annum
• Workplaces: Various campuses and regional offices, including Pretoria (Muckleneuk & Florida), Johannesburg, Polokwane, Nelspruit, and more
