Purpose
The Junior Specialist: Data Analyst will assist in preparing datasets, analysing trends, and building dashboards to provide meaningful business insights. You will work alongside senior analysts and business teams to improve data quality and support data-driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean, prepare, and validate data from multiple sources.
- Build reports and dashboards using BI tools such as Power BI.
- Perform basic data analysis to identify trends and insights.
- Support senior analysts with projects and ad-hoc analysis.
- Collaborate with business teams to understand reporting needs and improve data quality.
Qualifications Required
- Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computational Mathematics, or Computer Science.
- Certifications in Power BI, SQL, or SAS are an advantage.
- Higher Diplomas in Physical, Mathematical, Computer, or Life Sciences are also considered.
Skills & Experience
- 0โ2 years experience in a data or reporting role (internship experience acceptable).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good Excel skills (pivot tables, functions).
- Basic SQL knowledge.
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI preferred).
- Attention to detail and effective communication skills.
