Overview
Jendamark Automation is seeking a Project Graduate Intern to join the Projects department. This internship offers hands-on experience in project management within an industrial/automotive environment, allowing the candidate to support project managers while contributing to project delivery, risk management, and customer satisfaction.
Purpose
The Project Graduate Intern will support assigned Project Managers in managing and coordinating project operations from order receipt to full project sign-off and payment. The role involves risk management, milestone tracking, and administrative support to meet departmental KPIs while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Importance
This role is crucial for ensuring project delivery aligns with customer requirements, timelines, and financial milestones. The intern supports operational excellence within the Projects department and helps maintain the companyβs reputation for quality and efficiency.
Focus Areas / Key Responsibilities
- Technical/Project Risk:
- Liaise with project sales to establish cost- and time-effective concepts for customers
- Understand full scope of work at project inception
- Obtain and assess all customer requirements for received orders
- Ensure technical specifications, drawings, and project status reports are provided on time
- Project Milestones:
- Establish project plans accommodating financial and timing constraints
- Determine resource requirements and liaise with customers for timing and delivery arrangements
- Manage project schedule changes in collaboration with the Project Manager
- Chair weekly scope-of-work meetings with project management team
- Ensure successful project completion per order requirements
- Quality:
- Support Jendamark Quality System (JQS)
- Assist in general management, supporting company policies and Code of Conduct
- Promote the wellbeing and best interests of the company
Minimum Requirements / Eligibility
- Formal tertiary education: Project Management Degree
- Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering with automotive background
- Application experience in Project Management (advantageous)
- Valid Code 8 driverβs license (required)
Languages
- English (speak, read, write)
- Afrikaans (speak, read, write)
- German (advantageous)

- Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Team player capable of working under pressure
